Hello everyone!!
How are you all doing guys?
Here in Busan, a southeastern city in South Korea, it seems that autumn is finally in full swing.
Today, I’d like to introduce a truly authentic spot in Busan: Choryang-dong in Dong-gu, Busan!
This area became densely populated with refugees during the Korean War and is now known for its hillside roads and traditional neighborhoods.

Take a look at the first photo!
Isn’t the slope just insane?
I’d say the road’s incline easily looks over 35 degrees.
Wow, if you rolled down here, there’d be no way to stop! Haha.

Just looking at it makes me out of breath!
I was also gasping for air, huffing and puffing as I went a little further up, and then I saw the Busan Dong-gu Senior Citizens’ Welfare Center.
Busan Dong-gu Senior Citizens’ Welfare Center is a good community facility dedicated to supporting the elderly in Busan’s Dong-gu district.
The center offers a variety of programs and services aimed at improving the quality of life for senior citizens, including health services, social activities, and resources to assist with daily living.
It's a hub for fostering community and providing care for the aging population in the area.

I just can't resist when I’m curious!
As I went further up, I found a park that had been developed.
It’s quite unique!
The combination of the city, the mountainside, and the park — it’s such an interesting mix!!

Wow, inside the park, there’s even a place where you can enjoy some light sports! That’s amazing!

After passing through the park and going further up, I came across a road for cars and a sidewalk.
Wow, just look at the slope of these stairs!
Aren’t these the stairs to heaven?
If you ever come to the lovely city of Busan and want to try climbing these stairs, make sure to be careful! Haha.

Well, I didn’t climb the stairs, but I walked along the left side of the road, following the Busan Democracy Park.
Ah, being the adventurous person I am, I was curious about what’s up at the top.
I’m the type of person who can’t rest until I satisfy my curiosity, so I couldn’t just walk by and had to keep going.

Damn, I’ve been walking all the way from the bottom, and it’s still not the end?!
Does this even make sense?
But still, I keep climbing up!

Ah, the finish line is in sight!
Just a bit more, a little more!!!

Huh?
When I finally reached the top, the end was... right here!!!!!
It was the entrance to the Mt. Sujeong hiking trail.
Doo-dung! (Sound of a dramatic reveal!)

So, how did you like today’s blog post?
I tried to write it in a fun way, and although it was a bit tiring, it was a great and unique experience.
It was a place where nature, the city, and history all come together.
In my opinion, it was such a cool spot.
Thank you for reading my long post, and I hope you have a wonderful day today~! 🫡
